In this episode, the season’s winter finale, we’ll find out if Pan’s plan will succeed. More after the jump, including some surprising returning characters, and two sneak peek clips (warning: spoilers!!)
“Going Home”
The race is on to stop Pan from enacting another curse on the residents of Storybrooke, which could kill every living soul in town…
on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Michael Raymond-James as Baelfire/Neal Cassidy, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest stars:

Surprising guest stars:
Tony Perez as valet (Regina’s father! We haven’t seen him since The Miller’s Daughter in Season 2)
Stephen Lord as Malcolm (Rumple’s father, before he became Peter Pan. Didn’t think we’d be seeing him again. Will he be part of another flashback, or will Peter Pan revert to his old form?)
Going Home was written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and directed by Ralph Hemecker.
Sneak peeks:
Remember when I thought that, at least for a moment, Pan sincerely wanted to reconcile with Rumple? I don’t know if I was right about that or not, but whatever Pan was really feeling when he was in the Neverland skull cave, he’s hardly in a reconciling mood now:
And here’s Pan again … wait, are there two Pans with different agendas??
Promo:
Now, why the winter break?
See this earlier post. It’s a way to draw out the season without having all the little random breaks they had last year.
Note that in the third promo, the narrator says: “Peter Pan’s final act of vengeance could destroy one of their own and unleash a curse that would change the face of Storybrooke in ways no one could imagine.”
The operative word: “could”, not will. 😎
And note that the narrator says “Peter Pan’s FINAL act of vengeance”, which can be interpreted as either Peter “wins” or Peter “loses”. If “loses”, does that mean the death of Peter Pan? Probably not, if many viewers protest. The writers would find a way to resurrect him.
i DO NOT WANT TO SEE PETER PAN EVER AGAIN EXCEPT IN FLASHBACKS HE DID ENOUGH DAMAGE. wILL THE FAIRY TALE CHARACTERS REMEMBER THEIR LIFE IN STORYBROOKE AND HOW REGINA THE EVIL QUEEN CURSED AND SAVED THEM????
What ever the EQ did, didn’t destroy SB. One promo for OUAT’s winter break end, shows the Evil Witch of Oz (EWOO) in a future episode walking down the road that leads into SB, so it still exists unless it’s a flashback, but I don’t think so. Maybe the EQ and Rumple are the only ones that went back to FTL, Rumple somehow surviving his murder of his father. Now until the EQ and Rumple figure out a way to return to SB, the citizens of SB must figure out how to get back Emma and Henry from New York while trying to survive the rule of the EWOO.
That would explain Hook showing up at her door.
Just a thought.
It’s been so long since OUAT has aired that I watched the last episode in December again. I too hope that Pan is out of the picture. I hope permanently.
I like Peter Pan as a character. I think the show needs a villain. With Cora dead, and with Rump and Regina having redeemed themselves by being willing to sacrifice everything (Rump his own life, and Regina her ability to see Henry again) for the greater good, there’s a vacuum in the show’s villain slot. Besides, I love the actor who plays Pan.
Maybe the Wicked Witch will be the show’s new villain, unless she turns out to be less evil than her name and reputation suggest. I like Pan, though. If nothing else, he keeps Rumple on his toes.
