Updated 2/15/13
These breaks are ruining season 2.
Obviously these writers can’t get their act together and need more time to try. A lot of the scripts are based on what people say on forums anyway so I think they write and rewrite, film and refilm. Pretty amateur.
I agree!
It’s because the Academy Awards are on ABC that Sunday.
Ah, thanks. Updated the post.
Yes it’s the academy awards or the Super Bowl but so what you can’t run your tv show on the rest of the entertainment worlds schedule. It’s redic. And a good way to loose followers of the show. I don’t remember all these breaks in season 1.
This time they really have no choice. Since the Academy Awards runs on ABC, the network can’t run OUAT that night — it’s not like they are going to cancel or reschedule the Academy Awards to accommodate the show. As for some of the earlier breaks, that’s a different story. I do miss the days when shows used to run continuously through their seasons, but that was a long time ago.
Bit what about the next Sunday night? The show won’t be on for two weeks right?
It’s just a one-week break:
Feb. 17 — OUAT
Feb. 24 — Academy Awards
March 3 — OUAT
Oh okay, Terri-thank you.
